Training at Broadway Jiu-Jitsu in south Boston, with Kru Nick Drummond and Steve Soriano, Matt didn’t lack, for sure, a high level of teaching as well as high level of sparring partners. From Allston ( I actually may have seen him jogging in front of my old store on Brighton Av. with the one and only Gagnon…!!!), “Nak Muay” Matthew Dubois, has the tendency to throw less but with intense power, especially his right Low-kick. With the full clinch rule in play, as long as the fighters are staying active with knees or trying to unbalance opponent for a sweep, Matt should be dominating at close range. The only factor, that is out of Matt’s hand is how much prepared will Shi Fan step into the ring!!
